A lab grown diamond is a real diamond — chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond. The only difference is origin: lab grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment using advanced technology, rather than extracted from the earth.

Yes, absolutely. Lab grown diamonds have the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), the same brilliance, and the same fire as mined diamonds. They are graded using the exact same 4Cs — cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight — by independent gemological laboratories.

Diamond simulants (such as cubic zirconia) look similar to diamonds but are made from entirely different materials and are far less durable. Lab grown diamonds are not simulants — they are diamonds in every scientific sense, and will pass a diamond tester with the same result as a mined diamond.

Yes. Lab grown diamonds are created without mining, which means no displaced communities, no environmental destruction, and no conflict-related supply chains. Traditional diamond mining requires moving over 250 tonnes of earth to yield a single carat — lab production eliminates this impact entirely. Every diamond Verasah uses is 100% conflict-free.

No. Because lab grown diamonds share the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds, they are equally durable and will maintain their brilliance indefinitely with normal care.

Yes. All diamonds used in Verasah jewellery are independently certified by recognised gemological laboratories such as IGI or GIA, graded on cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight. Each stone also carries a laser inscription with its report number and the words "lab grown", invisible to the naked eye but verifiable under magnification.

Yes. Because they don't require mining, lab grown diamonds offer significantly better value. You can get a larger, higher-quality stone for the same budget compared to a mined diamond of equivalent grade.

We do not offer exchanges. If you have questions about sizing or style before purchasing, we encourage you to reach out to our team — we're happy to help you make the right choice before you order.

We take great care in packaging every order, but if something arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately with photos. We will replace or repair the item at no cost to you.

Yes. We offer one complimentary resize within the first 12 months of purchase, subject to design and metal restrictions. Please contact us to arrange this.

All Verasah rings are covered by a lifetime manufacturing warranty. Other fine jewellery items are covered by a 2-year manufacturing warranty. Both warranties cover defects in craftsmanship. Please retain your order confirmation as proof of purchase.

Store pieces separately to avoid scratching. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush, or use an ultrasonic cleaner. Avoid exposing jewellery to harsh chemicals, bleach, or chlorine. Remove jewellery before physical activity, swimming, or sleeping to prolong its life.

We recommend having your pieces inspected and cleaned by a jeweller every 12–18 months to check prong integrity and maintain brilliance.

The 4Cs are the universal standard for grading diamonds:

Cut — how well the diamond has been shaped and faceted, which determines its brilliance.

Colour — graded from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow). Verasah uses near-colourless to colourless stones.

Clarity — the presence of internal or external imperfections. Most inclusions are invisible to the naked eye.

Carat — the weight of the diamond (not physical size, though heavier diamonds are generally larger).

No diamond — lab grown or mined — is guaranteed to be flawless. Like mined diamonds, lab grown diamonds can have minor inclusions. We select stones where inclusions are not visible to the naked eye, ensuring they look beautiful in person.

Your certificate will be provided with your order. It lists your diamond's unique ID, 4C grades, measurements, and grading notes. The report number corresponds to the laser inscription on your diamond. Contact us if you have any questions interpreting your certificate.
